Any US government agency, contractor, or vendor may join the waitlist for the Early Access Program, and we are accepting customers into our EAP on a rolling basis in order to provide the best possible experience.

User tiers for Jira Government Cloud and Confluence Government Cloud start at 201+ users. User tiers for Jira Service Management Government Cloud start at 26+ agents.

During the EAP, Atlassian Government Cloud will be 25% more expensive than our Cloud Enterprise plan, since it offers much of the same functionality as Cloud Enterprise - like Atlassian Analytics and support for multiple sites - plus the assurance that the FedRAMP Moderate controls and requirements are met. Please contact us for specific pricing information.

No, our commercial cloud products are not FedRAMP Moderate compliant. Atlassian Government Cloud is built in a separate environment from Atlassian Cloud Standard, Premium, and Enterprise. If you are using one of these cloud plans today, you will have to migrate your data to Atlassian Government Cloud to get FedRAMP Moderate compliance.

As we shared in July, we are investing in FedRAMP High and IL5 in order to enable more of our public sector customers to migrate to cloud.

We based our Atlassian Government Cloud products off of our Cloud Enterprise products, so Atlassian Government Cloud has many of the same features and functionality as Cloud Enterprise. There are some important differences between our commercial cloud products and our FedRAMP Moderate offering. Details on these differences can be found in our documentation.
