Rovo activation
Rovo is automatically activated for Enterprise, Premium, and Standard Cloud plans*. To fully use Rovo, AI must be enabled on each site to which Rovo has been added.
Admins can't enable or disable Rovo apps—such as Search, Chat, Agents, or Studio—on an individual basis. Instead, management of AI-driven LLM features is facilitated through a centralized Atlassian Intelligence toggle, which is available in Enterprise, Premium, and Standard Cloud editions.
The availability of Rovo features is contingent upon if the Atlassian Intelligence toggle is set to either "enabled" or "disabled" in Atlassian Administration.
Non-LLM powered features
These Rovo capabilities remain accessible even when the Atlassian Intelligence toggle is disabled:
Rovo Search (including support for filters)
Bookmarks (admin-generated)
Team and person knowledge cards
Third-party connectors
Rovo Studio capabilities including Assets, Hubs and Automation
LLM powered features
These Rovo features are only accessible when the AI toggle is enabled:
Smart answers
Definitions
Rovo Chat
Rovo Agents

Confirm Rovo is activated
To confirm Rovo is activated within your organization follow these steps:
1. Go to Atlassian Administration. Select your organization if you have more than one.
2. Access Apps in the top navigation
If Rovo is activated it will be listed in the table.
Additionally, your teams should see Rovo apps (Rovo Search, Rovo Chat, Rovo Studio) in Jira, Confluence, and/or Jira Service Management, as well as the app switcher.
We're renaming 'products' to 'apps' over the coming months. Here's why we're making this change.
If you do not see Rovo under products and have a Enterprise, Premium or Standard Cloud plan, please contact your Atlassian sales rep or Atlassian customer support to discuss when you will be able to access Rovo.
