Matt Harman

Technical Director, Engineering, Atlassian Williams F1 Team

Matt Harman is responsible for both the leadership of the engineering department and the management of the team's car programme - ensuring that each element of all car and technology programmes are produced to cost, on time, and in line with the team's performance ambitions.

Before joining the team, Matt worked across multiple roles in Formula 1, including positions at Alpine, Renault F1 Team, and Mercedes. His experience spans both chassis and power unit teams, giving him a unique insight into how seamless integration of engineering and people can influence and drive on-track performance.
